Mood Painting

Materials (not limited to):
Ziplock, paint, scissors, heavy paper or cardboard

Directive:
• Cut paper to fit into ziplock bag
• Select paint colours that represent your mood
• For parents ask child to choose colours that make them feel happy
• Apply paint onto areas of the paper
• Put paper in ziplock bag and seal it
• Begin moving the colours around
• As the colours start mixing together think about your mood and what that represents
• (Optional) use excess paper and paint to create symbols to reinforces mood

Goal:
Explore emotion, symbolism and kinetic movement
