Positive Affirmations/Self Care Box

Materials (not limited to):
Small portable box, tissue paper, coloured paper, glue, markers, pencils, scissors, positive affirmation and positive word list (see directive)

Directive:
• Select box
• Use materials to decorate the inside and outside of the box
• Choose colours that ground you, soothe you or make you feel happy
• Think of words or phrases that ground you, bring you joy, calmness, and comfort
• Write words directly onto the box, the inside of the box or on small pieces of papers that can be placed into the box
• (Optional) add personal items into the box that bring you comfort, joy or calmness

Goal:
A reminder of the positives, the box holds and protects your affirmations and reminds you that they are accessible at any moment
